Crouch pledges Reds future

Liverpool's England striker Peter Crouch has pledged his immediate future to the club, having been linked with a move away from Anfield in the January transfer window.
The 26-year-old has sometimes been frustrated by Reds boss Rafa Benitez's rotation in selection and has failed to find the net in the Premier League this season, having been handed a mere four starts.Liverpool's England striker Peter Crouch has pledged his immediate future to the club, having been linked with a move away from Anfield in the January transfer window.
However, Crouch says he is okay with that situation, despite talk of interest in him from the likes of Portsmouth, Aston Villa and Manchester City.
He told the Daily Echo: "Everyone talks about me talking to clubs. Maybe it's because I'm not playing every game, but at a club like Liverpool you're not going to play every game.
"I've come to realise that this is the case at a club like this, whereas at somewhere else maybe you would play every game.
"But here we are competing for things and I certainly want to be a part of winning trophies.
"Hopefully, if I get a good run of games towards the end of the season, then the rumours will go away."
